G-Series Gaming Keyboards

Hey there, hoping someone can help me with this because it's driving me insane.

When i first got my computer and accessories delivered from Dell everything worked fine for 2 weeks, then my G11 keyboard  would start shutting off in the middle of games.  The Lights would go out and absolutely no input was being sent to the computer, it was like something just shut it off.

I thought it had to do with just games at first but it started doing it when I was working in Word...replying to email, or just sitting watching a video on Hulu.  It'd just flicker and go out, or just snap off.  I would have to uplug it from the usb port I had it in then plug it into another....then another.

Eventually I switched from the back USB ports to the front and it stopped.  I've been using my keyboard like that for 4 monthes and it's never given me a problem, until the other day when i had to start turning my computer off completly instead of leaving it in power save sleep mode.

When I turned my computer back on, the keyboard started doing the exact same things, flickering and snapping off, power was getting to the keyboard, but nothing was working.  I'd unplug it, replug...it'd work for 2 minutes then it'd shut off again.  

I'd plug it into other USB ports and it'd work for awhile, then shut off eventually.  I was about to switch to the default keyboard that came with my computer but it stopped giving me problems that night.

Of course at teh end of the night I had to shut it off...when I came in the next day it was just as bad, if not worse.  I'd restart, unplug, replug, restart, and just when it seemed like it would stop it turned off again.  when I tried plugging it back in this time my computer told me the usb device wasn't recognized and it had malfunctioned...

I unplugged, replugged in another port then restarted and it hasnt' happened again so far *fingers crossed*.

I have no idea what to make of this but it is driving me absolutely insane.  I thought this problem was done with, and now it's doing it again.

 So please, I hope someone can help.

I have the same problem with my keyboard. It sporadically turns off during gaming sessions then turns back on. The LED lighting would flicker a bit then it would freeze for like 10 seconds. Probably QC let a few lemons in circulation. Hopefully Logitech can help us out here.

ya you get ahold of customer support. they send you a new one...   theres a list of #s in the box.

and its probably not exactly "logitech"s fault it would be the electronic device manufacturing company that got the contract of making the product that logitech designed. i beleive the box says made in china.

The G19 has the same problem.  Look at the front page of the forums, there's a stickied thread on G19s doing this.  There are a number of possible fixes posted there but I haven't gotten them to work for the G110 yet.
