I changed from XP to Windows 7. Ever since the switch, the G8 key appends an "a" to what ever I bind to it. Even with nothing binded, it still returns an "a". This happens regardless of M1, M2 or M3.
Running v8.20.74
Win7 64
I would love to get my G8 key back.

Have you check to make sure you do not have a persistent or default profile that has a macro or script that presses "a" when it is pressed?

Ya, I deleted all other profiles, kept only the default, removed all macros/scrpits from the G8 key and it still gives me an "a" regardless of M1, M2 or M3.....
I had also tried the usual uninstall/reinstall (a few times), even tried using a freshly downloaded copy of the software.... ![]()

Hi GreenThing,
It sounds like it may be a hardware issue, would it be possible to test the keyboard on a second computer for the same problem?
Regards

Might take a few days, but I'll do so. I'll report then.
