G-Series Gaming Keyboards

Hia, so I picked up a G110 keyboard today, and was hoping left CTRL and the space bar would work together.. But they don't. 

I tested it on this website,

Held left ctrl, then hit the space bar, yet it doesn't work....

Why?

Friends of mine have cheap keyboards, yet they are able to use left ctrl and the space bar at once, and in that order....

Hmm, ended up returning the G110, but unfortunately the problem persists..

When I tested left ctrl+space at the link provided above on a G110 keyboard, it works. So I tested a few more G110 and they all worked. I'm wondering what keyboard language layout you are using? What is your operating system?
