G13 Not Reading My Game Profiles

My G13 doesn't seem to be reading my created profiles. It was working the other day without any issues, now it's not reading them. The only profiles I have are the few that I copied to the G13. All my profiles are still located at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Logitech\Logitech Gaming Software\profiles ... Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you fix it?

Re: G13 Not Reading My Game Profiles

hi ..

all profiles will be automatically stored in the username\appdata folder. those you stored on the g13 should be there as well.

i would backup this folder once in a while, just in case.

maybe your profile is not active. try setting the profile as "persistant profile" to ensure its active.

Re: G13 Not Reading My Game Profiles

This sounds strangely familiar...

Up until Friday I could change profiles without having to make them persistent (except for D3) and the G13 would work fine.  But today and a recent batch of Win7 updates later I have to go in and set each profile as persistent before it wil work.

Has something changed due to the updates?

Re: G13 Not Reading My Game Profiles

All my game profiles are where they should be, they're just not showing up in the Logitech Gaming Software. The only profiles that show up are the ones that have been copied to the G13. All the others are not showing up in the profile bar at the top.

I guess no one has a fix for this. Bummer.

Re: G13 Not Reading My Game Profiles

Actually, if it's having a tough time reading the profiles, your settings.json file is probably corrupted.

Close Lcore.exe processin tast manager

Browse here: C:\Users\%USER%\AppData\Local\Logitech\Logitech Gaming Software\

Delete this file: settings.json

Reboot. You'll have to recongifure your backlight colors, but it should be fine.
