I just created a profile for Battlefield 3.

Dude! I didn't even think of useing my joystick and those buttons for knifing and ect...Thanks!..since I can't set up my mouse binds yet.

I only played the BF3 beta three times, I think there's room for improvement.

If I end up buying the game I will create more macros etc like the macros I did for the BC2 profile.

If you have a look at other profiles I have on my blog you might find some other ideas you like

hello , just got my g13 and am wondering how i would get the "w" key to make my character run when i quickly double press it any ideas how i can do this or has someone worked it out already? thanks in advance samuraijones

You need to create a Lua script for that.

It's not too difficult, in fact you can find some of them around the forums.

I can't get the G13 to work at all with Battlefield 3.  Which is strange since it works fine on BF2. When I test G13 say outside a game I do get the regular characters for movement example wsad,,,  that and the thumb pad get me zero movement. I tried re-maping it and using the default settings saved new profiles etc,,,nothing. Does EA not want you to use the Logitech G13?

Dumb question: Are you sure your profile is active?

Unplug the Gamepad from the USB port, then plug it back in....If you are using the updated drivers, like I am, I have to do this with my G-930 Head set and the G-13 Game pad...it's really annoying....but that is what I have to do, in order for it to work...

Make sure you chose the right path for BF3 on your profile. Sometimes the problem is that we target an .exe launcher rather than the true .exe game file.

Pardon me for butting in.  I notice that a few profiles use the thumbpad for camera controls, which is what I'd like to do.  Does that work well?  Also, it looks like you can bind mouseclicks to the two buttons next to the thumbpad.  Is that right?

I'm debating whether to buy a G13, and if you can use that thumpad as a cam control, that might persuade me to buy it.
