G13 loses connection after computer wakes from sleep

My G13 has been in operation for a few days now, and it has consistently lost connection every time the computer wakes from sleep.

By lost connection, I mean the LCD displays a large G13 on it, the color has changed to white, and none of the keys are responding.

I can access the controls in the Logitech Gaming Software, and it allows me to select and modify the G13, but it changes nothing on the actual device which remains unresponsive.

The only fix is to disconnect, wait a moment, and reconnect the gamepad.

Any suggestions?

Re: G13 loses connection after computer wakes from sleep

I have the same problem, exactly as described here.

I'm using a fast system: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. AMD Phenom II, 3.5 ghz overclocked.

Software version: 8.20.74  The update checker says it is up to date.

At wakeup, no function on a G13. Just the white "G13" startup logo on the keypad. But I have to click on the icon in the Taskbar, and exit the program entirely, then restart fresh.

This was listed above in 2009, now it's 2012. Any ideas anyone?

Me, too. Anyone with TechSupport who can help solve this problem, or include it in a software update?

G13 Stuck on White G13 Logo After System Wakes Up and Won't Respond

[ Edited ]

I wasn't having this issue until I upgraded from the Legacy Software to the Logitech Gaming Software 8.45.88. Now the exact same thing is happening to me. It can only be fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting the G13, closing the LGS and relaunching it or rebooting the PC. I also have the G700 mouse and G930 headset that aren't having any issues, it's just the G13. I don't want to have to go back to the Legacy Software.

Hard to believe this is still an issue Logitech. When it's been multiple years and 7.00 to 8.45 then that's just you not even trying to fix it. I guess cause it has simple workarounds but they're annoying to have to do every time and that's poor customer service and support to let it go like that. Please fix this or at least let us know why you can't/won't.

Thanks.
