I cannot get the media bottons other than the sound + - to do anything at all. How do you program the media keys? Will someone please message me with an answer to the media key question, or I will keep asking ![]()

I think that I just found the answer to your problem. Go into the GamePanel Manager, and then go to programs. Click on whatever plugin you are using/trying to use to control your media player, and right click it; now press configure and make sure that the box in the "Background Enable" column is checked for the application that you are playing music on.
I hope that works for you. ![]()

Unfortunately there is no box in this region to check. Should I reinstall Winamp? Thank you for some useful information, but I now need to get the background box to appear next to winamp or even windows media player.

Winamp or windows media player. do not have the check box "background enable" next to them
, yet Itunes and RealPlayer (which I uninstalled) are. What do I do? uninstall all media players then re-install?

Sharpie: It's called solved because the original poster (Not some Logitech moderator) marked ExEvolution's post as the solution to his problem.
Anyways, as hasbeen stated many times in many places (It's the first google hit for G15 and winamp), to get the media keys working in winamp, enable global hotkeys in winamp. No clue about WMP, I don't use it. Presumably it has something similar.

the keys work fine, all you need to do it enable global hot keys in winamp and (tick both) and enable HID input service (make it automatic), this fixed it 100%.
Altohugh switch to winamp or any media player automatically, doesn't work anymore, i have to push the switch button every time i run winamp, with 2.0 it did it automatically but now not anymore...
Logitech keyboard G-15 v2; windows 7 pro x64 sp1, UAC off, slideshow off, virtual keyboard and mouse uninstalled. & Windows 8 Pro x64.
