G19 Issues

Hi All,

I'm having problems with my G19 since moving my pc to another room. The keyboard is ok for typing but thats about it.

-M keys are not backlit and do not work

-Unable to use the menu, back arrow, gear, dpad do not work but are backlit

-Button to enable/disable led/lcd does not work

-Unable to change LED colors from the logitec software

Apps like MSI Afterburner still appear on the LCD.

I was on 8.12 of the Logitec Gaming Software so I tried 8.20 but still having the same issues. I've tried multiple USB ports, unplugging the powerpack from 5 seconds to overnight. I also tried installing the software before the keyboard but nothing has fixed the issue. Legacy USB support has also been disabled in BIOS.

One time when I rebooted after loading the windows desktop and the logitec software started the keyboard started to go crazy. CTRL, SHIFT and ALT were held down and I think F11 as well. The LED's would randomly be changing color as well as turing off and on. Its like the keyboard was catching up with all the color changes I had been doing.

I have not tried the keyboard on another machine yet.

Any ideas where to go from here?

PC Specs:

Core I7 920

Gigabyte X58 Mobo

Windows 7 x64

Re: G19 Issues

buttons not working: looks like you got a chinese-new-year-day-after model => replace it (i had the same prob) dont know about the other issues, if you want to find out test the keyboard with Logitech 3.06 Legacy.
