I just received my g19 from new egg. I think i messed up because i plugged it in before inserting the CD. Logitech refuses to detect in the game profile manager. When i unplug it from the ac power, the lcd comes on with the logitech symbol then the screen lights up and goes completley black. Is this a driver issued because i didnt use the disk first?

It doesn't matter if the software is installed first, so you didn't mess up. The AC adaptor supplies the power for the back light and LCD screen so the behavior explained in your post is normal. You may need to boot your computer or run the Logitech Gaming Software as administrator, depending on your operating system and UAC (user access control) settings.
