After installing the latest version of LGS, I noticed that the sideshow applet disappeared. And I took a look in changelog, I didn't see anything mentioned about it.

This was removed in 8.20 as Sideshow causes a host of side (pun intended) problems. Just search the forums for all the issues, and the solution being to turn Sideshow off. Microsoft has pretty much abandonded Sideshow anyway. One of the moderators mentioned that it was no longer supported.

Well how nice of them to protect us from sideshow.

However it was working perfectly fine on my system. Is there anyway to turn it back on or is simply a case of uninstall and reinstall of the older file?
