Its called Google and searching forums threads,it saves time for yourself.Either way a Post of your own would have gotten much more views then one buried in a 26 page bug thread that isn't even related to your parts.And masking swear words is a TOS in most forums,i think you knew that but hey you couldn't be bothered to use the search feature why would i think you would bother reading the TOS either . There is a difference between helping and discussing a issue and confusing the issue with useless non pertaining questions and buying suggestions,it would seem you cant tell them apart .

At the risk of turning this into a flaming war, I agree that he could have started his own thread and possibly received more attention but, after all, this is a user forum. He made his first post and was obviously concerned about mother board issues. If you read this thread, lots of posts are entirely off topic, so cut the guy some slack. If you were the thread starter, you might have a right to complain and complaining about getting an email is just ridiculous.

 I have disabled legacy USB support in BIOS,

However In my standard BIOS features I see the 

"HALT ON" option default selected it def say's

-- "Stop boot for nothing, other than Keyboard errors"

I can boot my PC with the power not running to the G19 keyboard

However this is not ideal because I lose my key backlights and all

The other features.

I tried plugging in the keyboard power after the PC was booted

And began to get sound freezes and glitches during gaming

or playing music through Windows media player, itunes and winamp

I have updated my BIOS from the Gigabyte website as well as all my drivers

I'm not sure what else to do

This is the system I am running

OS is Windows7 x 64bit

fFor most of the year ive tried evrything this forum has stated, everyone elses ideas ive tried too, im in IT and fault finding is my buisness, this top of the range g19 keyboard is flawed an thats all there is too it, first page of this forum post by logitech has basically denied taking any responsability for a flawed product, probably because they dont want a mass recall on the product, you can buy any five quid cheap an tacky keyboard plug it in an it works,,,,, buy any other keyboard yu can think of and it will work, but search google for g19 problems an there is ur answer,,,, everyone cant be wrong, if i can buy a £5 tacky keyboard plug it in and it works then i should be able too buy the best  gameing keyboard there is (g19) and plug it in and it too should work ! an for the £140 i payed for it should do the bloody housework aswell!

Hello Running:

Windows 7 pro 64bit

Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe MoBo

2GB of ram

AMD Athlon 64 Dual core 4800+ Processor

Upgraded to a G19 from a G15 which I have had for 3 years with no issues, However now I have got my G19 I cannot get my computer to recognise the LCD screen of my keyboard.

The G19 appears twice in my devices section of my OS one of which has an error detected on it. I try to update the driver through the auto search on the internet but the driver it finds claims that it is "not designed for this platform" I loved my G15 and would love the G19 to function as well. All other functions appear to behave properly as my mouse is plugged in to the keyboard hub and I am able to change the colour of the backlighting etc through the legacy key profiler.

Oh yeah I am having to use the legacy software as the new 8.2 software is throwing up runtime errors and the version 8 of the gaming software which by the way does not detect my keyboard in the first place.

please help I have spent 3 days trying to fix this so far trawling through forums.

Hello, after my 5-6 years of using G15 it was finally time for an upgrade. Some of the buttons on the G15 had turned glitchy, after years of service I found it to be the best keyboard I've ever used. So naturally, I bought G19 without really looking into it. I thought it was a flawless product, naive as I was.

I have the problem where I can't, for instance, hold shift to warp in troops or to queue-up several buildings in Starcraft II. As I hold shift, the game locks up. This is SO IRRITATING, I can't play SC2 anymore because of this keyboard. For serious games I must plug in my old G15 just to be able to play a normal game.

My setup:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Service Pack 1
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance
MB:ASUS P8Z68-V / GEN3
GPU: ASUS 560Ti

What I've done/tried so far:

1: I've disabled EHCI hand-off. 
2: I've updated both BIOS and Windows.
3: I've disabled all kinds of sticky-keys, and similar features in Windows.
4: I've tried every USB-port on the MB.
5: I've looked through forums and communities for various solutions not mentioned in this thread, tried them, without any results.

I don't overlock.
I don't run SLI.
I do not have any kind of mobile device in range of the keyboard. 

 
I bought a product for more than 120€, this shouldn't be happening. If this doesn't get fixed soon, I'll return the product and I'll never buy a Logitech product again. Mark my words.

look at the first post date...it isnt getting fixed ,they have no plans to as its been this long,this thread is just to let us vent i guess

I too am getting the same problem,PC starts runs for about 2 mins PC crashes. windows will then not recognise the key board, the hub or the lcd.But works fine with any other Keyboard

I think this is appalling for a product of any price.

I think we all should get together and get trading standards involved....as it is not fit for purpose,

How long has this been a problem? too long

I find it hard to believe that this issue doesn't have a solution.  I understand that Logitech is washing their hands of this.  What I am trying to do is find a motherboard with a non x58/i709 controller that supported LPG1366 CPUs.  I read that the x79 chipset should support them, but I cannot find a motherboard that leverages that support.  Would an x79 motherboard suffer this same issue?  I have tried USB 3 controller cards with no improvement.  Forget Logitech fixing this.  How do we fix it ourselves?  A seperate USb controller that works with it?  A different motherboard?

I just packed down my G19, preparing it to be shipped back to retailer for a refund. I plugged back in my old G15 and guess what. I have the same problem as with the G19. I can't believe this, I have never had this problem with the G15 before. It's been working flawlessly ever since I first bought it many, many years ago.

What gives? How come my G15 suddenly has the same problem?

I thought of buying a G110 instead of the G19, but now I'm fearing that it wont help. Maybe I should start buying Razer products instead...
