I too had this problem with my g19. I am 99% certain that my son's Verizon phone is the cause. When he comes over to game with me, he sits at a desk right next to mine. He sits his phone less than a foot from my keyboard. It occurred to me the other day that I only get the rebooting when his phone is sitting there.

Update! I shouldn't have said 99% because it has rebooted again. However, I have disabled the profile selector and have not had a reboot since. Not a great workaround since you know, the profiles are kind of the point of the keyboard.

you don't need the profile selector anyway.  the software should be able to automatically activate a profile when you run the corresponding game.  I never use the profile selector on my own system; it's a waste of my time manually selecting something the computer is perfectly capable of doing automatically by itself.

I just, plain and simply, don't believe reboots have anything to do with profile selector or mobile phones. After I pressed my LCD-screen (and most propably tightened the connector there, I don't know this for sure, because I haven't opened my keyboard) my G19 hasn't rebooted one single time (in months). I have 2 mobiles (and sometime more) near my keyboard all the time.

I am using USB 3.0 but occasionally the keyboard will stop working, cant type or run any coomands so I have to unplugh the USB out then back in for it to work again. It does sound like a driver issue: when are Logitech going to fix this as it can be annoying, it always acts up right in the middle of an important task!

That youtube vid is exactly the same as mine. Had mine since May '09 and worked like a dream up until around a month or 2 ago, it now just constantly does that. I've got an old G15 that's still chugging away perfectly but I use that at my work, so I'm having to use an old Razer keyboard that I don't really like much (the keys are miles apart for one).

Gonna try out a new ac adapter & see if that helps but as it is it's completely unusable (and out of warranty, of course).

I don't think it's the phone now, however, many people have stated that certain phones, using certain wireless technologies can cause interference. I am pretty certain after two nights of hard gaming without the profile selector enabled it had to be the problem in my case. I should also note that it only happens for me when playing battlefield bad company 2, never when I am just using it to browse the web or when playing any other game. I would even go as far to say that in my case it may have been the latest bfbc2 patch/vietnam expansion that was the problem. Maybe something about it didn't agree with the keyboard app. That is when the problem began, and now it is gone, so take from that what you will!

I only picked up BFBC2 & the Vietnam expansion after I'd given up on the keyboard, so it definitely wasn't that for me anyway.

I tried it with a different ac adapter last night & that didn't help, so I took it all apart, checked all the cabling & made sure everything was secure & that none of the connections had become loose or worn, but everything looked fine. Put it all back together nice & tight, and it started working! I'm not holding my breath, but will use it some more tonight & see if it was a fluke or if tightening everything up actually worked.
