Ha. I'm auditing a training session right now, so I'm keeping things short
You could try the hub: That might help prevent ESD disturbances on the USB bus. I figure why not though: There's no reason to eliminate a potential solution without trying ![]()

Hello Charles.
I installed now XP Pro, Vista and Ubuntu 9.04 on my machine and made exessive tests on all systems. I installed and deinstalled many Applications, Tools, Drivers, Updates and so on...
The issue seems to occur only on Vista (SP1 at this time) when i installed the 3.0x drivers. So i removed them again and the crashes where gone.
To be able to track the issue further down, i will install the 3.02 driver and disable ALL applets and see what happens.
The only difference regarding the G19 between Vista and XP, is afaik the SideShow Feature. Am i right?
It would be interesting to know if other Vista users who experience the same LCD reboot issue, to test their System also without any G19 driver. And if the issue disappears there also, ... hmm ya know...

As you can see on the screenshot, i've also deinstalled the Mono and QVGA devices in the Vista System Control Panel.
LCDMon.exe is now the only running G19 process in myTask Manager. See below:

I am currently stress testing it on Vista Home Premium 32Bit SP2.
Since i've deactivated EVERYTHING except the LCDMon.exe, i have NO issues.
So i started a 3rd Party Applet to get rid of the boring LCDMon.exe Screen
As you can see on this image, the Applet is SysMon 2.x. This one is gathering many System Information and is using more than 1 or 2 resurces.
I have now running the System with a few reboots for driver and application install/deinstall tests, for more than 6 hours with NO issues.
I will test it a few more hours and then i will launch more and more 3.0x Driver Applications, to try to find the one, which may cause the reboot issue.
My tests will continue with the following application add order:
1. G-series Key Profiler
2. Script Display
3. LCD Clock (+Performance Meter, because i believe they are tied together somehow...)
4. Movie Applet
5. YouTube Applet
...

The result of our issues may be the same, but the cause of our issues, could be different.
I am still testing and this will need some time. I will send an update, as soon as i have something interesting to tell.
Thank you for your patience :-)
