it is my understanding that Logitech is aware of this issue, has seen this thread, and is looking into the problem.  I've seen a couple of posts on this forum that lead me to believe that the G510 was not supposed to do this.  hopefully this is something that Logitech will be able to fix.

I count myself lucky that I haven't had any issues with my G510 on any of the games I play, although I'm also a G13 user so I'm not entirely certain that I would have noticed the problem even if I did play an affected game.

I had the same problem, today it was "solved"

I got mail from Logitech support with link to a "G510Updater.exe" file which updates g510 firmware.

So, after this tool did something and then said "Your G510 is now up to date" my G510 died. Neither buttons, nor any indicators work now. Also now keyboard isn't recognized by official software. I hope this will be solved by Logitech support too, but who knows.

So be careful if you got similar mail. Maybe it's better to wait for another firmware.

Any updates regarding the arrow key's / multi key input ?? I am considering returning this KB and going for a Razer...

has logitech officially come out with a solution / advice or acknowledged the problem at all ?

I really have a good deal of respect for logitech - and hope they will make some effort...

it is my understanding that this has been fixed in the latest G510 firmware update.  there is a thread in this forum with the information you will need to download and apply the update.

I have not had a chance to apply this update to my own G510 yet, I've been too busy with work.

that updater fixed my problem. though it did freeze while updating and i had to start the updater again. but once it was finished it fixed the problem.

(i can now press right shift and left arrow at the same time while playing black ops and it functions correctly)

I just made an account to make a remark on this, don't know how old the post is but anyways I bought this keyboard because I thought it was a gaming keyboard (which it is) but when I tried to play different games like super meat boy I had the same problem. I had to completely remap the keys to play it but it's absolutely ridiculous an expensive keyboard like this has a minor problem like that, one of the key points I bought this keyboard for was because it said you can hit multiple keys at once.

And to give a reply to the OP saying he isn't the "target market" and that it's for "gamers" is complete crap answer, it's a stupid problem that shouldn't be there.

Found this thread after searching for shift + arrow keys. I just discovered that problem when playing an arrow-key game. Usually I play WASD, but occationally arrow keys are the way to go. This is anyway wery disappointing. Shift + arrow keys don't work on a "gaming keyboard"?
