The applet switch button registers twice at times so it is very difficult to stop at the applet I want, is this a software issue or a hardware issue, and how do I solve this problem?

I'd test it on a second PC to make sure, but it might be a problem with the microswitch.

I'm surprised that this hasn't been solved already. I have the done necessary checks that it's not my computer or the hardware. I'm too having the same problem and a basic google search reveals that a lot of people are having problems with applet switch button registering more than once. (the button registers twice or more sometimes) this a very classic example of incorrect debouncing a button in the driver code. All you have to do is increasing the button debounce time Logitech, please solve this one line code of bug and make us happy.
