G-Series Gaming Keyboards

Since I've installed this keyboard, every time I turn on pc I have to wait to use the keyboard until I here the USB reconigition noise at boot up. So why does it do this. I've un-installed, re-installed...switched from legacy to current software and drivers and back again. I've moved usb port connection which seems to temporarly fix it for only a few days then the issue starts back up. I've even re-installed windows and the same thing keeps happening. Any ideas for this it's driving my nuts.

do you have a headset connected?  I suspect that a lot of systems have trouble figuring out on their own how to initialize a device that claims to be a keyboard but has audio resources attached to it.
