The LGS will not load automatically with Windows unless I turn off the UAC completley. I should not have to disable OS functions to get software to work. I've tried everything from uninstalling the software competley, reinstalling as adminstrator etc. Nothing works. If I don't turn off the UAC I have to manually start software. This is on a clean install of Windows 7 64bit.
System Specs (just for a compatibility check):
Core i7 2600k
Asus P8Z68-V/Gen3
Logitech G110
Logitech G9X
Nvidia GTX 570
Creative X-Fi soundcard
16gb Of Corsair Ram

it's probably because of the macro recorder, that requires LGS to be able to snoop on keyboard input in other programs (just like keyloggers do). that kind of behavior is exactly what the UAC prompt is there to protect you against.
I'm surprised it's not starting though; in previous versions it would still run but certain highly-privileged functions (like the keystroke snooping) simply wouldn't work.

It's weird. If I leave the UAC on the default setting LGS won't even give me a prompt to bypass the UAC to start, after the OS has loaded. I have to go into the start bar to manually get it started... As stated previoulsy if I turn off the UAC completley it loads up fine during the Windows startup???

yes, when it autostarts there's no UAC prompt because Windows won't show the UAC prompt for programs it autostarts, it will only show it for programs that you run manually. this way you will know what program it is the UAC prompt is for.
I think Microsoft's thinking on this is that if you saw a UAC prompt every time you booted up, you'd soon learn to blindly click through it. but when it only shows up as a result of you running a program, you associate the warning with something you did, and are better equipped to think critically about whether the program you just started actually needs elevated rights or not. and thinking critically is the whole point of the UAC prompt to begin with.

Thanks for the info. Really appreciate it. However any ideas as to why it's not loading with the UAC at the default setting? That is the answer that I'm looking for from anyone.

maybe the uac prompt is hidden behind some window(s), it hapenned to me that the screen didn't darken and the pop up was hidden, so i thought the program didn't run.
when i minimised the windows there it was, once clicked it worked.
perso on win 7/vista i just disable it altogether log off/reboot.
Try reinstalling it after your disable UAC.

I think I may have figured it out. I uninstalled the KB2529073 Windows update and now it loads at the Windows start up with no issues...

That did it I have restarted it quite a few times now after uninstalling the windows update and it's working. Logitech you may want to take note that the update is somehow conflicting with the LGS software or either the G110 or G9x hardware.
