I recently bought a G510 and am struggling with finding applets and the link to getting started with making my own in the logitech page shows instrutions relating to folders and files that are not on my machine (I have logitech gaming sofware 8.20.74 and GamePanel Software (Legacy) - should I have anything else?)
I don't get much time to spend on my pc as I have a 6month baby and my wife is disabled but Is there anywhere that you can point me so that I can get started try out applets other than what Logitech provide? I tried to search google and these forums but I cannot find any salvation. If there is a thread showing me how to get started it would be great. I looked at the SirReal thread but can not find any download link on it.
Many thanks for any help anyone can provide and apologies for miss-spelling as I had a sleeping baby in my arms - he has now just woken and wants food or play so will check back tonight.

you shouldn't be running the legacy software and LGS 8.x both at the same time. just use one or the other. in terms of LCD support they are both pretty much the same.
the LCD SDK comes with both versions of the software; look for a .zip file in the folder where you installed the software. that zip file will contain all the files for the SDK.
I wouldn't worry too much about finding applets for the LCD. an applet by itself usually isn't that useful -- the really useful applets are the ones that are part of a larger program (LCD SirReal being one of the notable exceptions). for example, the Ventrilo and TS3 applets are incredibly useful if you're using Ventrilo and TS3. there are also a number of games that will make use of the LCD, but those applets are part of the games themselves so again you don't need to worry about acquiring them separately.
personally, the only 2 applets I'm using right now are the ones that are built into Ventrilo and FRAPS. I don't have any standalone apps installed at all, except for the ones the Logitech software came with (and most of those I have turned off anyway).
I do not work for Logitech. I'm just a user.
