Hi,
I'm a software developer and I'm trying to update my G15 LCD based application. It's a little app that displays lyrics of the song playing in WMP in real time on the G15 LCD screen.
Back when I started, the logitech driver contained a G15/G19 LCD emulator, which would open with a secret combination of keys that only true masters knew. ![]()
But now, with the new Logitech Gaming Software, it seems that there is no way to emulate G15 or G19 screens. It's a real shame, because I often travel and cannot bring my G15 keyboard everywhere I go. I would like to be able to test my application without the actual hardware.
I would also like to develop a QVGA version of my application, for G19 owners, but I do not own myself a G19 keyboard and don't plan to buy one.
I surely could use the old logitech driver, but the new one is really great, and I cannot use both versions together.
So my request is, bring back the LCD emulators! For the sake of worldwide developers! So that more Logitech LCD applications are developed and shared with the community!
... Oh, and, if you know a better way to reach the developers of Logitech Gaming Software, I'd like to know. Thanks!

I think the LCD emulator is back again in the latest LGS release. I think I remember seeing something about it in the release notes. I'm not certain, though, since I still use LGPS v3.06 day-to-day.

I do not work for Logitech. I'm just a user.
