LCDManager - Intermittent High CPU usage on OSX (and other issues)

LCDManager seems to start using ~50% CPU intermittently on my MBP (Dual Core).

This possibly happens more after unplugging the keyboard and reconnecting - although it doesn't happen every time.

When this occurs, the LCD functionality seems to continue operating normally - but if I move the mouse over the LCD Manager system manager icon, I get the beach ball, and can't load the preferences panel.

Is this a known issue - and what can be done to resolve?

I'm using V3.03.113 of the software running on OSX 10.6.3.

Also the Media Display just shows the pause symbol and 0:00 when music is playing in iTunes (all the time, not just when the CPU usage is high.

i am having the exact same problem in OSX with my G13, all up to date software on my early 2011 MBpro. i recently upgraded to OSX Lion but that did not fix the problem. It doesnt matter if the g13 is plugged in or not, if anyone can narrow down to when exactly this happens i can take that in account.

edit: did a little further searching and found this larger thread on the same issue: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/G-Series-Gaming-Keyboards/G-Series-Key-profiler-has-a-high-CPU-usage-o...
