LCore.exe Crashes

While trying to write a script, I have run into a very strange issue.  I have never worked with lua before, and was testing some things out to see if I could get it to work.  Well, now the script runs once it starts, and caused the program to crash.  I could get in and see the code, but it would crash whenever I tried to save.  So I uninstalled the program, and reinstalled, to a much newer version and a new layout.  Apperantly, my old settings were preserved, and thus the script as well.  So now the program crashes once i open the console, and there is nothing I can do about it.  How would i go about removing this **bleep** script?

Re: LCore.exe Crashes

Seing as noone else has responded at all, and almost noone has viewed this, it's probably pointless to explain my fix, but on the off chance it helps someone, here it is.

Close the profiler.  As its crashed, you have probably already done this anyway.

go to  'C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Logitech\G-series Software\Keyboard\Profiles'

rename .lgp to a .txt

if its the one with your broken script, continue.  Else, check the others

at the bottom of the file is the script

Delete it

Save

Rename to .lgp

Reopen profiler.

???

Profit!

Re: LCore.exe Crashes

Only way to fix this is logitech do something to it! stop disabling UAC:s it just make your computer to vulnerable for bad programs what installs it self when uac isnt there stopping it and everyone knows what happends when some unwanted program installs it self without you knowing about it. Admin rights will make lcore to start but only if started manually not on windows startup cos UAC prevents this kind of action happen for protection. i tryed to unplug g19 and it will make lcore run without admin rights so Now would be the **bleep**ing time to make that firmware and not keep it secretly hidden from ppls eyes.. yes they can make firmware upgrade's  they just wont want ppl to know about how easy it is. thats why they wont puplish one cos "there isnt any problems" i can see a problem and maby i just take my money back if customers are like **bleep**... how can be this problem be so **bleep**ing old first posts are from year 2010 and some of them are older now it is about halfway 2012

So take finger out from ya buts and do some **bleep**ing work you lazy maggots!

Re: LCore.exe Crashes

Try uninstalling the Windows KB 2529073 update it worked for me... I think that update is conflicting with the software.

Re: LCore.exe Crashes

Yes, that's right, Logitech peripherals are great, but software is at best so-so... Takes loads of RAM, crashes... My G15 software used to work perfectly, and all of a sudden, as soon as I try to get in the macro key profiles, Lcore.exe crashes, and that's it. I deleted all profiles in Appdata, but crashes again. Uninstalled, reinstalled, doesn't work. In fact, I'm seriously thinking about switching to a Macintosh, and tossing the PC altogether. I'm sick and tired of spending more time fixing the **bleep** thing instead of actually using it! The PC is a huge piece of s..... !
