Hi All,
I recently picked up a G110 Keyboard from logitech.com. After installing the software for managing the "G" keys (Logitech Gaming Software 8.00.127) I am unable to switch on NVIDIA Surround mode without stopping the software.
When I go to activate surround (NVIDIA Control panel/Configure SLI, PhysX, Surround/Span Displays with Surround/Apply) I get the following message:
"Close these programs and click Continue: LCore.exe" (with the logitech gaming icon)
Closing the Logitech Gaming Software allows me to continue. I beleive this is because when minimized, the LCore.exe process is not letting go of the control display, IE. the screen that displays the keyboard where you can edit controls. FRAPS picks this display up as something it should record FPS on, which leads me to beleive it's using the 3D driver in some way, even when minimized.
Anyone else having this issue?
Thanks,
B.

Do you have the same issue using the Legacy software, v3.06? If you haven't tried, try it.

Bumping to say I also have this issue. Might have to write a script that kills the process/starts it again in 10 seconds or so until a fix comes out. I switch from SLI to non-SLI when I'm not gaming to allow the video cards to downclock otherwise one card stays in 3d mode (mutliple monitors) and runs at full clocks (~10C hotter and louder). This inconvenience combined with having to shut down the logitech software each time is pretty annoying.

LGS conflicting with NVIDIA drivers has been an issue for quite a while now, I've read many posts on this forum from people (including myself) having the same problems but no responses from Logitech addressing the issue or offering any real solutions.

Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
Yes, just picked up a pair of SC 580's... and have the G15 keyboard. When the current lgs820_x64 is installed I have to end the Lcore.exe process to even install the Nvidia driver's.
Also, with the lgs820_x64 installed I'll get BSOD's randomly, with an 7e error code and nvlddmkm.sys issue. When not installed... no bsod's.
I usually don't install the 3D driver's, does anyone know if this is related specifically to surround...?

I have two 470's in SLI and use 3D vision, and I do not have such an issue, unless it's an error when you come out of sleep, I small percentage of the time I come out of sleep, the software has an error. I also have to shut down the logitech gaming software in order to install new drivers or enable SLI, but that isn't often, so it's no big deal.

Install the 8.20, go to the settings page, and turn off the "Enable enhanced graphics". This prevents the Nvidia drivers from loading at all.

Same issue for me, having to kill LCore.exe to switch enable/disable Surround or SLi.
I've used a G15 Rev 2 for two years and never had this issue until I installed my G13. That is when I downloaded the new drivers and this issue began. Quite annoying, but I'm used to it.
