Actually, scratch that, I still need to answer a security popup box every time I have to start it by hand.

I believe that elevated rights are only needed for the MR button to work, and possibly for profile auto-detection. if the Logitech virtual keyboard and mouse device drivers have been properly installed, your G-keys should work even without elevated rights.

Is it possible to transfer profiles from version 8.20 to Legacy 3.06?
Using 8.20 is almost not possible on my system - keyboard periodically lags (even while browsing with Firefox!?)... Also applets are starting or not starting probably depending on Moon phase, cause most of time time after booting up PC I just get Profile Selector and Countdown applets running automatically. For any other - everytime I have to go to Gaming Software, disabled and enable back applets couple of times - then they are appearing back...
I would love to stay with Legacy version, but it does not contain Skyrim profile... So importing it from newer version into Legacy would be everything what I need to stay with older and stable version...
Is this possible?

I don't know if an LGS profile would be recognized by the older software, but it doesn't matter because it's easy to make your own profiles.
In Key Profiler, you simply choose Profile / New from the menu, give your new profile a name (e.g. "Skyrim"), click on the "Select using the GamePanel display" button, run the game, then when you are actually in-game (not just at a launcher screen), press the button on the LCD with the checkmark icon above it. Then, alt-tab back to Key Profiler and click OK, then customize your G-key assignments just the way you want them. If you liked the default assignments that LGS came with, just write them down or save a screenshot of them.
I always make my own profiles rather than relying on the samples that come with the Logitech software, because I prefer to have my G-keys set up exactly the way I want them, instead of using defaults that some stranger chose for me (no matter how well-intentioned).

That may be so, but the fact is that Logitech apparently changed something in recent versions that causes this whole issue to start with.
At least after installing the latest 2 versions it never starts on system boot and keeps coming with these UAC pop ups. And an unfortunate side effect seems to be that reinstalling the older version also does not seem to work.
It worked before and now it stopped. And there's little more I can do, already did the full uninstallation/reinstallation dance. I cannot do regression testing on their codebase. And that would be the first thing I'd do as developer if I read about these problems as a few people have reported by now.

Hi guys,i have recently upgraded my software from 3.06.
i have 3 questions.
First: In older version(3.06) Icons on lcd were smaller than in this update, can we change de size of icons?
second: In 3.06 when you down volume it doens't matter what are you doing because in lcd appears volume bar and shows you the volume,in this new update it only shows volume on the music app.
third. In the previous version when you are at top on lcd if you hit up arrow(of the lcd panel of course) you are bringed to the botom(very useful if you have a lot of apps),why did you remove this function
.
For the rest i think it's a very good software.
Salut and sorry for my english.

Dear Logitech staff.
Are there any plans to fix the Freeze after Sleep problem with this program?
I am running Windows 7 64bit. A few months ago I decided to try and update my program to the latest version. When I did the LCD on my G15 would freeze after resuming Windows from Sleep mode. I searched around the forums and found the only solution that did not involve manually restarting the Gaming Software was to uninstall it and reinstall the old version from the archives.
Now, a few months later, I decided to try again, since there have been a few updates since then. To my surprise, this problem is still present! Despite being talked about in numerous threads on these forums.
This is a serious dealbreaker for those who use Sleep on ther computers. I'm tired of having to run outdated software so my product can function properly. How long are you going to keep ignoring this, Logitech?

Yeap! I can confirm the programm freeze after sleep mode, so I have to restart PC or turn off the LGS and start it again to make it working!

Thanks for your feedback everyone. We've logged it in and we'll see what we can do about it
(LGS doesn't crash on resume for sleep with me on both my systems: Asus G73jw and a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4 based system).
Can you guys that are seeing the issue share some system details? (If you haven't already, I'm gonna skim this thread for system details now)
