I am upgrading from the 3.06 to LGS 8.2 (first time switching to LGS) and I cannot get around the Runtime errors either.
I've tried pretty much everything listed in this thread (disable UAC, uninstall/reinstall Visual 2008 redistrib, etc...)
I've had to revert to 3.06 because I simply cannot get around the LGS Runtime Errors.
I'm running a G15 keyboard, no other logitech devices.

I had the same problem with the runtime error message. Disabling user account control by windows solved it for me.
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33 GHz
RAM: 6gb DDR2
GPU:Geforce 9800 GTX+
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit

disabling UAC to get it to work is a pretty terrible fix...even if it did work for me (which it doesn't)

At least disabling UAC worked for you, poor solution though it is, you could be like me, still swingin' in the wind...

sorry, my post wasn't clear....disabling UAC doesn't work for me either...I was just pointing out that even if it did, it's a crappy solution

Guys, there is a bug that applets do not get loaded after resuming from Standby, is there a fix to it?
Current work around is to Exit the Logitech Gaming Software 8.20.74 and then start again. Fix? Logitech LCD Manager has no such issue!!!!
