Re: LGS 8.20 is now available for your G-Series Keyboard

8.30 has gone GM. The launch date is being hammered on now. I can guarantee it wont launch this week, as I hate launching software in the later half of the week (if something goes terribly wrong, I want to be able to deal with it). Though, 8.30 wont be a huge release; fixes and whatnot. The big release is 8.40, which we are already working on.

Do let us know! I do not mind beta test too! Or debugging! Or bug reporting! Windows C++ is my field!

Re: LGS 8.20 is now available for your G-Series Keyboard

Can you make public at all your timelines for supporting Windows 8?

I've been testing the Release Preview of Windows 8 and while LGS 8.20 appears to run fine, none of the G-Keys for the G19, G13 or G930 seem to work. Perhaps the apps are more isolated now in Windows 8?

I can't even get them to type text into notepad as a test let alone any games :-)

Audio still works fine on the G930 and the media keys on the G19, but none of the G-keys on any of the devices.

Ive got a quick question about 8.30 - will it fix the keys not working until reboot bug?

Hi Jademalo,

You can try exit the Logitech Gaming Software and then start it again to fix the button problems. Do not need to reboot.

Do try and let us know if it resolved your issue.

Re: LGS 8.20 is now available for your G-Series Keyboard

Hi, Im unable to make an auto run Gkey with this 8.2 software. Ive been able to do it with all the other versions.

By auto run i mean pressing Gkey will make me run ingame, really helpful for Arma2 and other games where you must run across a large map.

The way ive made it in the past is press MR then Gkey then hold W (forwards key) down but not up, then MR again to finish it.

Now doing that just makes it so it must be held down, so no auto run.

Help please.

Odgregg - So, LGS 8.30 should tacitly work on Win8, but I haven't tested it personally (I'm waaaaaaaaaay busy with things and my personal test machine, a cheap laptop, got a VERY heavy box dropped on it :smileysad: ). I'll ask QA if they see the same thing on their Win 8 RP machine.

Anyways, one of the aspects of 8.40 I can share is that it will be a Windows 8 tested release. I can't share the cool stuff about 8.40, but at least I can share the boring stuff :smileywink:

****Update: LGS 8.30 was in fact tested on the release previews of Win8, but we'll be waiting for the final version before advertising Win8 compatibility :smileyhappy:
