Can you make it so we can install the windows 7 drivers on a windows 8 machine? or have a hotfix update so we can install it regardless of os?
Using the windows 8 dev preview.

I would like to have this as well! Now I got my performance MX with standard buttons, and I need to configure those, which apparently I can't at the moment.. ![]()

That's interesting. I had read that Microsoft decided not to change the software number of Windows 8 to prevent this sort of issue. Under the hood, it's still MS Windows 6.xxxx or 7.xxxx (I think they did the same with Win 7, but not sure). I guess that plan wasn't perfect.

Logitech's efforts are much better spent on improving on and correcting current issues with Windows 7 software than wasting time creating drivers for an early preview release of an OS that isn't even in beta yet.

Since Win 8 is mostly just Win 7 with a new UI, they likely only have to change a line of code that identifies that Win 8 is an acceptable OS to run on. It's likely an extremely easy fix.

I see, but you are using this keyboard and mouse right ? and you use the setpoint drivers ?
then you should probably try installing this setpoint630_x64.exe
Tried to install it on windows 8, had no problem at all but ofc, I do not have any mouse or keyboard that needs the setpoint
but it seems to me that this are the drivers you need.
please let me know how it goes
the drivers I posted before was only for the G(gaming) series of keyboard and "maybe" mouses but unsure since I only got the G19 keyboard

I can confirm that the current 64-bit Logitech drivers for G15 work with Windows 8 public prevew 64-bit just fine.
Edit: Only problem is upon wake from sleep where the display apps do not show up again.
