Soon as in days, weeks or months?

I ask when because I have been waiting so long. Note the date I joined the forums. That was five months ago and shortly after I bought my G19 with the expectation that it would work with ventrilo. Should I expect to wait another five months? I know you can't give me exact dates but some idea would be nice.

Re: G19

The problem is that every time I give a date, I get burned by things beyond my control.

That being said, I'll know more about the timeline tomorrow, but for now let's say it's very, very, very close (as long as I don't get blipped again).

We've fixed bugs, added some feature support, made some improvements. To my knowledge, with the recent build we haven't seen anything runaway processor usage on our machines. There will be some things sitting on the sidelines, like a couple additional LCD applets for the G19. I want to put those applets up on the FTP once we get more work into those (So we can get 3.03 out quicker).

I'll have more definites tomorrow though

Re: G19

Hang in there CharlesB! I'm looking forward to a new release, but in the meantime my DPS is at an all time high and my discomfort at an all time low with my G13.

Re: G19

Thanks! I'm not looking for sympathy, but just understanding that I'm on the customer's side of this :smileyhappy:

That being said, it's now close enough that I have a deadline to get comments in on the release notes webpage. Also, if I have my way, we will air our dirty laundry and list all known existing bugs openly on the downloads page.

Re: G19

Question: is this next version (at least planed right now) going to be a point release or a major release?

Re: G19

Point release, which is now available through the download page. We've also included a list of known issues on the download page that we are continuing to address.

I cannot say when the next major, non-point release will be, but I can confirm that the Mac and PC versions are now developed in parallel to ensure A) Parity between feature performance sets and B) simultaneous, or at least nonstaggered releases.

Re: Official GamePanel Software for Mac [beta] Discussion thread

After uninstalling, I also ran a verify/repair permissions in disk utility.  It didn't find anything relevant though that could have been a problem.

So is 7.0 for the Mac in the pipeline? Will there be a beta as there was for the Windows version? I would be glad to run the beta.

Re: G13

I too am fed up with suddenly finding out my laptop is so hot after said runaway app.

Instead of fixing issue and complaining about it, I have a question:

Is there another gaming keyboard company that works well with macs?

I will be very happy to get my money back and put it into something twice as expensive with less headachs and burnt laptops.
