G-Series Gaming Keyboards

I know this is probably not the place for doing something like this but im fed up. My hands hurt after 2 hours of playing and i have tryed almost every gaming keyboard out there. I dont want to use multimedia keyboards anymore just to be able to continue playing .

Every company for the past years have been making gaming keyboards more responsive , with backlighting , programable buttons and all that . 

I feel we have reached a point when those are at the peak of theyre posibilities, but one issue has yet to be adressed by any company . CONFORT

There isnt any gaming keyboard that has all those functions and is actually working well (roccat valo is an example of bad keyboard functionality) and is confortable. 

More and more MMO games launch each year and we are still stuck with the old keyboards originally designed for shooters.

I am talking about MMO games because those require you to use your keyboard for longer periods of time while using all the keyboard and not just a set of keys ( you also  type allot to chat with other players)

MMO's require you to have access to many buttons and button combinations , but with a traditional gaming keyboard like the G19 having a long travel on the keys means its harder and less comfortable to reach the keys you want.

There are some keyboards from steelseries with a huge button pad on the right/left of the keyboard that are excelent and confortable to use but the quality of the keys is bad and when you switch to typing you have to travel a long way to reach the qwerty keys.

A solution is needed. A confortable keyboard( logitech has that in the form of k800) with all the advanced features of gaming keyboard. ( on the fly macro recording is useless in mmo's) .

% Macro set of keys located under the space bar similar to the Razer anansi( but easy to reach , individualy textured and confortable to press)

% Huge confortable detachable palm rest for that extra confort

% Easy to reach F keys that are individualy textured  ( similar to the g700 g keys)

% Similar confortable design to the k800 with perfect keystroke(or close to that ) or low travel keys

%Durability- this has never been a problem with logitech gaming gear.

MMO time is now . LOGITECH , can you give us the ultimate mmo gaming keyboard ?

pair a G13 with any keyboard you like.  I can game for hours at a time and my hands don't get sore.  the only thing I use my actual keyboard for (a Logitech G510 if you're wondering) while gaming is typing chat messages, and a few odd keybinds that I didn't bother to assign to a G13 key.

all the G-keys on the G13 are easy to reach, and it has absolutely no ghosting problems (you can hold down all the G-keys at once if you like, and none will be blocked or ghosted)

Thanx , yeah those things are preety awesome but still require me to move my hand from side to side to switch from gaming to typing . and require you to pay just as much as you would for a normal keyboard and take up an aditional usb port  and your gf is gonna wonder what the heck is that.

It would be easyer if we would have one device to do the job and not 2 devices. Plus those are for professionals or enthusiasts. and dont appeal to average consumer who is looking for a keyboard he uses to chat with his friends on IM , ocasionally edit office documents and by night turns into a gamer .

Something to work well with a g700 mouse . Logitech gives us the best MMO mouse ( makes the naga look like an infant) and lets the competition give us MMO keyboards( at least attempts at a MMO keyboard).

MMO games require a gamer to be bound to his chair for hours at a time with little time to rest  . PVP is even more demanding . Large area of buttons with multiple combinations and just the alt and ctrl button to multiply the commands

. Also if your not a fan of ingame macros grinding becomes painfull aswell.

I would seriously consider buying the k800. I tested it in a shop and hands are relaxing on it but i read only negative reviews about it on the internet. The signal drops and keyboard cuts off for a few seconds . Probably due to poor battery management. And it doesnt support data over cable. Also the range is less than stellar.

Now imagine the k800 with some extra buttons , g series receiver with 1000 reports/s  , 5+ antighosting keys , microusb data over cable and charging  a more curved design closer to the g13 and a large palm rest .  That sounds like a winner to me . That would solve the existing k800 problems and give logitech a MMO keyboard.

And sorry for always refering to the k800 as a base for confort , but by my opinion its the most confortable ive tested . Beats those so called ergonomic designed  and curved and all those weird looking keyboards  in the confort department.

If you playing gmaes for hour and hour then you will face such kind of problem. So that you have to avoid to playing games continuesly for long time. Also ues quality and comfortable gaming accesories for comfortable gaming.

Well the problem isnt the long hours , its the keyboards .

My hands are probably strange but i fell confortable on keyboards with short travel keys . And the only gaming keyboards to feature something like that are the razer keyboards and those can be quite pricey , lack features and are not exactly ergonomic or built for MMO's.
