When ever I try to open Logitech Gaming Software 7.0, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error that affects LCore.exe and says "abnormal program termination"
Any ideas?
Thanks.

dunno. reboot in safe mode, uninstall, clean out all Logitech files/folders remaining, reboot in normal mode and reinstall?

I do not work for Logitech. I'm just a user.

*BUMP*
Having the same problem on a Windows 7 64-bit system along with an older Windows XP system.
Tried reinstalling MSV C++ files and everything. Uninstalled Logitech software, still no-go. Any help would be appreciated...

BUMPED AGAIN...
Same problem here. Reinstalled twice. Cleaned out files both times. Ran Driver Cleaner.net software in Safe Mode for Logitech...only found a couple of Registry items. Would be nice if a Sticky could be posted for how to properly reinstall drivers and it would also be helpful if Logitech could provide a guide in how to properly reinstall drivers in their FAQ's.
Running Windows 7 64bit...

Thanks ffejrxx_
Well I finally got it to install properly.
I've also been in contact with support, and was asked to install an earlier version...
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
I tried that, and was still having the C++ Runtime Error.
Support then recommended I use Revo Uninstaller Pro to uninstall LGS 7.0. Revo is a nice tool available for a free 30 day trial, and will remove all relevant files, but also has a secondary feature for scanning the registry for leftovers. Some caution is needed for selecting which registry items to remove, as selecting everything Revo shows could lead to major failure.
I then tried Revo to uninstall LGS 7.0 and removed unwanted registry leftovers, but still a no go.
The link you provided is to an older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2008..., but on that page I found a button to a newer version...
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
Using Revo, I uninstalled the earlier version of ...C++ 2008... and Revo found no leftover registry entries.
I'm now a happy user of the newer control panel for my G11.
Thanks_

Tried what you had said, still get the runtime error... The Revo is a nice uninstaller, but a person can do the same thing if they know where to look for the registry entries.
Anyways, STILL NEED HELP!!!! *BUMP*

Use 3.06, version 7.0 is "faulty", to keep it friendly......
