Spilled my drink

Ahh, the day has finally happened, I spilled a Pepsi on my G15 keyboard.

I immediately  unplugged it, and cleaned it to the best of my ability using a key of pressurized air, and a q-tip

All my buttons are working fine, except for H, B, and V.

They have a nasty tendancy now to stick and they will keep typing in the letter even though my finger isn't on it.

What is the best method to fix this? I don't think I have a warranty or receipt for this, plus the place I bought the keyboard at (Circuit City) is now closed down.

Is it safe to pop the keys off and clean them using rubbing alcohol, then letting them sit for a few hours to dry?

Thank you ahead of time for the help/

Normally, I would say throw it in the dish washer on rinse only then let it air dry or take a shower with it (you can wear a bathing suit if you feel uncomfortable) but the g15 has a lot more on it than just a keyboard that could get permanently damaged in water/heat mainly, the LCD. Although, I own an iPod nano that went through the wash AND the dryer and you cannot even tell. I mean its flawless I was so surprised.
Ahem, back on topic.

Again, do NOT do the above with the g15. You are better off popping off the keys and really cleaning out the gunk. At this point, if the keys are sticking then the soda has already turned into a syrup that is not going away unless you hit it with some water or even better, some isopropyl alcohol.

I assume that popping the keys off voids the warranty so do that at your own risk.

EDIT: WYSIWYG editor freaked out.

The image of a pale nerdy kid showering with his keyboard in a bathing suite made me laugh hysterically.

Edit: I'm not calling anyone pale and nerdy; it just added to the humor :smileyhappy:
