G-Series Gaming Keyboards

Sometimes at random times the keyboard stops working and all keys go blank along with the lcd screen and 1-2 seconds later it restarts itself and start working. This makes it impossible to game with the keyboard as it is. Is it a common problem and what can I do to resolve it? I've tried to reinstall it and update drivers 3 times without any results.

dont worry, your not alone more or less everyone that has this keyboard on windows 7 64bit, no known fix at this time and logitech dont have a clue what or why its happening. not sure if its the controller on the motherboard, drivers or the keyboards.

i think its the drivers.

The thing is that im using windows xp. Some things that I didn't mention in my first post is that the M1, M2, M3, MR, Power key, macro keys and all the LCD keys stops working after a short amount of time when I have just started up my computer. I can still see the LCD screen when it's like this but I cannot press any keys or change anything on it.

Hi,

same issue with the g110. The keys twinkle when i'm typing and sometime I press a key one time and it displays the letter 10 times ... I have W7 64bits.

I haven't noticed if my keyboard stops working, but the LCD definately does. At random, the LCD goes blank then goes to the loading screen, then reloads whatever it was doing.

No idea what's causing this and it would be nice to see a fix.

This never happenned to me in Vista 64, but started when I migrated to Win7 64. Otherwise, it's the same computer, just different OS.

Windows7 x64 seems to pull up some interesting USB 2.0 issues with specific motherboards. As in, both the Windows 7 x64 machines I have exhibit no problem at all (Older homebuilt gaming PC and Macbook pro using boot camp). On certain PCs over with QA, we have dual boot systems where x86 appears to be fine, and x64 seems to have issues like people reporting here.

We can try some of the things that people have reported success with when trying to deal with the USB weirdness in x58 or 790i motherboards: Try disabling EHCI handoff in the BIOS, disabling the sideshow devices in Device Manager, try different USB ports, plug devices that generate a lot of USB ground noise like iPhones and other mobiles in USB ports less close to the G19, etc...

How long are we going to continue to have to use work-arounds and beta test Logitech's productes. The G19 is marketed as ready for Windows 7 64bit. It has been on the market for several months and still no fix?!? This is unacceptable. I have already sent my request to tech support and will likely askfor for a RMA if I cannot get a refund. This expensive keyboard is almost unusuable.

I got almost the same problem as Infidence here.

My keyboard got a life of its own. It goes on and off at any given time.

It works an hour at a time, TOPS.

Display freezes all the time, either with the logitech logo or it just goes black.

After the display freezes I'm not able to turn on/off key lights and the m1-2-3 buttons stop working.

experianceing the same thing i just dsabled ehci support we'll see if that works.
