G-series Gaming Mice

I love the G700 and use different profiles for numerous programs (I nearny ever even have to touch the keyboard any more

BUT the automatic profile switching using Application Detection is sooo slow. Is there any way to increase this "detection ping-rate" or whatever you want to call it? It would save me hoards of misclics everytime I switch between explorer <-> program or program 1 <-> program 2 and start using the programed buttons right away.

Hello Nioreh,

• Right click the software short cut icon on the system tray of your computer and choose exit, then reboot the computer.
• Try the mouse on different USB ports.
• Reconnect the mouse ( Open up the "connect.exe" application installed with SetPoint. This is located at C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP\connect.exe ).
• If you get the same results, try to reinstall the software.

No, there isn't a way, sorry. We wait until an application both

A) is in the foreground

B) hit the refresh for SP looking for the .exe for the profile.

We don't have a way to force SP to do quicker polling, or at least I've never known of one.

Nothing is malfunctioning but the the software checks if I have switched program to slowly in my opinion (slow enough for me to work faster than the polling and therefore misclick/use the wrong assigned function since the profile havnt switched yet.)

Thats sad, I love the function but its not very good that I can easily work faster than the polling

I recently upgraded from a Logitech MX1100 to a G700. The MX1100 does not have any perceivable delay in profile switching but the G700 does.

How is that the G700 can't switch profiles correctly but the MX1100 can?

For me, this is a huge issue with this mouse and I ended up returning it becuase I would often get frusted when trying to change windows (which I do frequently as a power user). I like many other aspects of this mouse except this issue.

IS THERE REALLY NO FIX?

I gave up on the G700 as well, it annoyed the crap out of me in the end.

Im not buying another mouse with this issue, I hope you fix it and preferably make a fix for the G700 which is a great mouse otherwise.
