You can just use a little dry hand towel to pat it dry. If you want to kill the germs on it, just mist the towel with a very light coat of alcohol. You just want to make the towel a bit damp, don't go overboard and soak it. Also, do not apply heavy pressure (hard scrubbing) when cleaning with a liquid, as this will help erode the material over time. You just want to pat it down.
This is also one of the reasons why I returned this mouse. I'm currently in cold weather here and whenever the heat in the house kicks on my hand would start to sweat during gaming sessions. The material is already a bit slippery when it's dry and adding sweat to it just makes it worse. I can't even begin to imagine how terrible this problem would be in the summer when it's constantly hot out.
