G-series Gaming Mice

I'm new to macros on mice and can't figure out how to make them! I've launched the macro editer and have recorded the keys on the mouse but how do I connect that with the key i want to do in the game? For example, if I want to press the second extra key on the mouse how do I make my character jump? Really confused and frustrated. Also how do I change the sensitivity? The manual says 'It's up to you' but none of the manual says how to do anything.
