Hello,
I purchased yesterday my G700 wireless mouse and encountered an irritating bug:
Whenever I disconnect my G700 from the wired cable, the taskbar freezes, until I pop up my task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL). Pressing the WIN key to open the start menu, or TABing between windows doesn't work either.
MY SPECIFICATIONS:
WIN 7 64X Ultimate
SetPoint 6.20.64
Firmware 22.35
Driver 5.20.51
SetPoint shows in control panel: Version 5.42.34 though I updated it to 6.20.64.
Thanks in advanced and hope you can help me,
Yair

I have had the same problem. If you're not doing so already, turn the mouse off with the button on the bottom before unplugging the mouse. Then when you turn it back on it should work.

i to am now having this problem as well. but it didnt start doing this till a month ago. if i start my pc up with the usb plug into the g700 and after i notice that the battery is fully charge i then disconect the usb cord.
it then the left/right buttons dont work or 1/2 work but when i plug the usb cord back in, it still doesnt work. i have to ctrl+alt+del to get my pc to turn off. then i can unplug the usb cord restart my pc up and all is fine.
**bleep** is going on with this not cheap mouse?? i never had a mouse do this and i have own many and logitech being the 1 i have owned the most.
also if i need to plug in the usb cord so i can charge it back up while i am gaming it does it as well so either way this sint good for logitech.
i will have to try that turn off the mouse it self and i will post to see if that helps any. thanks for the tip...

well today i turn on my pc and after it was fully booted up. i open firefox and made sure all was well, which it was. so i then turn the mouse off via the on/off switch underneath and then unplug the usb cable and then after i did that i turn the mouse back on, and it work i didnt have to do a restart of pc so that tip work great for me. i just hope logitech will get around and fix this dam bug they made !!

A workaround is, after you unplug the usb cable on the mouse, press ctrl-alt-del and then click the "Cancel" button twice. Full control returns to the mouse on the second click.

the way i have been doing it since i got this mouse is this. 1st you turn off the mouse with the switch that on the bottom of the mouse, then you either plug or unplug the usb cable and after that you switch the mouse back on bvia that switch. it works every time. but yes it would be nice Not having to go threw all that jst to go from wired to wireless !!
