G-series Gaming Mice

So I have my G300 setup to use the mouse 6 button as my push to talk button. When I press it, nothing happens. And Vent wont recognize it either.

Anyone have any ideas?

Mouse button 6 is not a normal windows supported button, you need to assign the G6 button to a keystroke (something like "alt + 2" or something like that.

I have a similar setup on my G700

In LGS there should be an option to configure the button as Push To Talk for Ventrilo, and Vent will not need to bind/recognize that specific button. Just make sure you have the latest version of Ventrilo, and that there aren't any other profiles taking over. (For example tabbing in and out of the game might be bringing up the game's profile when it is maximized on the screen).

I had the setup, and the problem persisted. Just nothing happens. Goinig to try to assign it to a key bind and just do it that way.
