Just a suggestion to anyone who's suffering this problem.  Until it's fixed my workaround is to just set the lowest DPI as my default, and use profiles for any games where I'd want a different setup.  It's a good solution, I'd still like it to be fixed though because I don't really need profiles if it gets fixed.

I think CharlesB mentioned in another post somewhere that it is fixed in the next release.

I have the exact same problem with my G500, but in my case it's at computer start-up. I haven't tried sleep mode yet, but if I fo I'll post an update.

SpecialK - Yep, this issue should be resolved in LGS 8.30.

I get around this issue by hitting the default DPI button immediately after resuming from standby, but it sure is annoying.

I have no dates, but it is in progress. I might as well confirm I have a beta of it running on my PC

FYI for everyone watching this thread...version 8.30 is out now.  I haven't installed it yet, but I'm assuming the issue is fixed now

I got a G300 and the same problem, for me it's not fixed with 8.30.
