Hello

After 5 months using this mouse i got a problem my mouse is still disconnecting and reconnecting. 

I have seen many topics about it but i never found a good solution for me.

I already formated and reinstalled my system and still have problems.

Im using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and im getting this problem in all applications.

I would be glad if someone will find good solution and fix my problem

Hi Josepf,

I would try to narrow it down to a hardware or software issue, since you've reformatted, it's likely hardware, so to confirm this you can try wiggling the cable to see if it causes the problem, or test on another computer and see if it happens. If it does, then the mouse is defective, in which case you can contact support in your region for a warranty inquiry.

Hi,

I got the G400 as a replacement for an older model, that was having this problem.  It was an MX518.  The light would go out, and I'd hear the disconnect sound windows makes when you unplug the mouse.  Then it would reconnect.

GUESS WHAT? 

Now my G400 replacement is doing nearly the same thing!!!

It worked fine for a few months...now, it is disconnecting.  The ONLY difference is that the light stays on when it 'disconnects'.   It started once in a while, but within a few days it is impossible to play.  I read somewhere that there was a defective sensor in the MX518.  I dunno what the deal is, but I do know I'm gonna get a mouse from somewhere else....it is buggin out as I am typing this message....grrrrr.

I have the same problem!

When i tried wiggling the wire, the mouse disconnect and reconnects.

I can claim warranty for this right?

Hey everyone, problem fixed for me.

i got the same problem for a long time but i found a fix for me and it works now for about 2month stable.

after the problem got to bad and it was unplayable, i switched to a  usual standart Logitech Mouse.

some day i think about switching the hardware from inside the StandartMouse, putting in the G400.

After opening both Mouses, u can see it is impossible to do that, but it is not impossible to switch the Cables.

So i do. Both Cables got the same PinConnectors, G400 Cable is a bit stronger but it doesnt matter.

I hope i can help, for me it did.

Strange: The Cable wich one is now used by the StandartLogitechMouse, who was once into the G400 works without issues o.O
