G-series Gaming Mice

Scroll wheel has a mind of its own. It does this on WinXP, Win7 32 and 64bit with default drivers and downloaded drivers as well. Also tried pressing the smooth scroll button with the same results. Will be returning to Best Buy for replacement. Just my luck. Anyone else seen this? I can't be the only one.
