Hi,
I recently bought a G500 mouse and it works great!
However, there is one small problem I'm having since I started using the mouse.
When I put my computer into sleep mode (something which I do quite often), the computer enters sleep mode, but the CPU fan remains on. Before using the mouse, this didn't happen. Also, when I unplug the mouse from my computer's USB port and then put the computer in sleep mode, the CPU fan stops spinning (as it should do).
So the problem is clearly caused by the mouse. Is there anything I can do to prevent my fan from remaining on while my computer is in sleep mode (I don't feel like decoupling my mouse everytime I turn my pc into sleep mode)? Any help would be appreciated.

I found the solution to the problem. I noticed that the mouse was also now able to bring the computer out of standby.. this led me to the mouse's hardware properties "Power Management" tab. Once I unchecked "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby " the system was able to go into standby without the fans running.
