G-series Gaming Mice

Hey guys, newcomer here to the forums.

Ive had my G500 for nearly a year now and it's been fantastic until just recently.  I normally have my volume up and down controls mapped to my left and right scroll wheel buttons but one day they just stopped working.

Ive tested the scroll buttons with different macros and they work fine but when I change the macros for volume controls to different buttons they still don't work.

Any ideas to get it working again? 

Also running W7 x64 SP1
