Hey!
It's probably a software related problem but it's annoying nevertheless.
I don't shut down my pc much, maybe once a week, I mostly put it to sleep because my motherboard can do it superfast so it's convenient for me.
But since I have my new G500 it's horizontal and vertical wheel speed is reduced to a nearly zero value, regardless of what I set in setpoint, The only thing that'll make it right again is a restart.
What do I do?

Hi depzoo,
Can you try closing Setpoint to see if the issue still happens?
Regards,
Logitech

hi
yes of course i tried killing it from task manager to check, then run it again to doublecheck and the problem still persists.
im experienced in fixing computers hw and sw wise, so i really tried everything, but only a hard restart seems to work.
is a little annoyance.
i might try to roll back to the setpoint that was on the bundled disc.
i didnt try that cause i always look for the latest software on support page right after buying something.
i dont have high hopes about that though...

dunno. try changing certain settings, apply, change them back, apply again and see if it helps? for example, forcing a dpi change or a mouse report rate change...
maybe something related ot EHCI handoff? if your BIOS has an option for that, try changing it.

maybe this will magically get fixed when LGS 8.40 finally comes out (whenever that is) and we can finally ditch SetPoint.
but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if the same thing happens in LGS. wait and see, I guess.
