I put in an order on December 3rd for an $18 replacement receiver (USB dongle on the charging unit) and was told it should be available by end of month. I just received an email today that the order was cancelled.
Lots of phone calls to both Sales and support - they were very nice - but the only thing they could offer was that I return the mouse and get a 30%-50% discount on a new unit. With the cost of shipping the unit back, the discount doesn't thrill me.
It was very clear that the Sales and Support teams do not have any visibility into if or when the receiver would be available so I am left with an $80 mouse that the company won't support and I am left to believe that Logitech isn't willing to support their customers.

I've been dealing with this for quite some time and they constantly give me the run around. You still SELL the G7...how can you tell me that you do not have extra parts for it? Sometimes they say they have it but it is on back order and other times they give me the line about a discount. What gives here? Can you not give your people reliable information on this? Why SHOULD I have to buy another mouse just to replace a simple receiver. I don't care WHAT receiver you give me as long as I can sync it with my G7, but there's no way I'm buying a new mouse for this. That's ridiculous.
Is anyone ever going to help with this or will this thread be ignored like all the others before it? I want to pay you money for parts on my mouse...why is that so hard? I'm not trying to cheat or get around anything...I just want to fix the piece of my mouse that is broken and NOT the entire thing. This is so frustrating. :-/

Well ive recently spoke to the logitech warranty/parts dept. according to them one of the other mice recievers will work with the G7 as a replacement. MX revolution receiver if im not mistaken(dont quote me on that check on it), they're sending me one of them that supposedly works with it in the next day or so by UPS. i can let you know if it syncs properly and works etc etc if you like
*edit* ~ today they sent it "1 ¦ RECEIVER,MX Revolution 07 Replcmnt Rcvr,AMR" is what was the email said was sent, so the 07 MX reciever should work for the G7 again ill let you know when i receive it in a few days if it does sync up properly etc etc.
