G-series Gaming Mice

I am trying to reassign the g-buttons on the side to the mouse so they do not go back or forward a page when they are pressed. 

I have gone into set point and unassigned all 4. Did not work.

I made a new profile and unassigned them. Did not work.

I even tried to set them to volume up or down. Did not work.

I made sure I had the newest version of SetPoint.

It is very annoying when you are in the middle of something on the web and one of the buttons gets pressed on accident and you loose all the data you have just entered.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
