Hi every body,
Im not a proud owner of a logitech G700 mouse. Now I LOVE the buttons and their placements and how easily clickable they are, especially the side ones.I use every single one of them and i rate the functionality of the mouse 10/10.
My problem with the mouse though is the shape.I cant grip the mouse. It's too high for a gaming mouse. The arc is too high and onwards, it keeps getting higher.I don't know whos idea was it , but u cant perform precise mouse movenets with such a high profile mouse. Also, the grip is horrible.I literally have used and been using my mouse for over half a year now and i still cant grip it. It keeps shaking in my hand, slipping through my palm and i can never hold. And after few minutes i start feeling the pain in my wrist cus the mouse is just too high and it requires massive muscles strain to hold it or move it, leave alone gripping it properly.
Now my question is: Is there a successor of the G700 with the same buttons layout but with a modified shape that is going to come out soon?
Oh and btw, i have small to medium sized hands.

I am the opposite. I like the palm grip style of this mouse over the smaller Razer claw-grip styles. Now if Logitech made a G700 with as many buttons as the razer Epic, it would be the best gaming mouse ever.

Im a palm gripper myself, i don't like to strain my hand and all that. That's not what im having a problem with here. It's the shape of the mouse where my problem is.The shape is horrible.I can't grip the mouse and i've been using for over half a year now.In Battlefield 3, i get killed cuz i can't keep my grip on the mouse and it keeps shaking and moving. Btw, i use the G5 side key for sprint in BF3 and Stalker , so i need it pressed most of time, and i have the rest of the side buttons mapped to prone, crouch and reload.
Anyhow, it's the high profile of the mouse is what makes it so bulky, and im unable to move the mouse the way i want and get it to feel as a part of my hand.If Logitech only changes the hape of the mouse to that of the MIONIX NAOS 5000 and keep all the buttons and their placements where they are ( Actually it would be better to lower the position of the side buttons and make em closer to the middle of the mouse so that u dont losen ur grip when trying to click em).

I don't like any of the Razer mice available today.Oh, and i tried the M90 from corsair that comes with 9 side buttons and it suckes only becaseu the side buttons are stiff and barely clickable, and half of em are unreachable and u have to lose ur grip and repostion ur hand on the mouse, which is pretty small, before u can click the first two side botton and the last two at the front. Also, it didn't have a 4 way scroll wheel. So yeah, more buttons are not neeeded.Instead, improving the shape and adding curves for the pinky and ring fingers would be better.Oh, and the aluminum frame on the m90 felt really nice, along with the weight distribution along the mouse. Also the sensor on the M90 felt more accurate, even though its the same Avago 9500DNS sensor in the G700.Maybe it's an updated one..

The G5 WAS the best Logitech mouse ever. Would loev to see it resurrected with many more buttons (think Razer Epic/Naga), LGS support, .lua support, etc.
