Bah, we are on the Mac, we don't need stinking support of manufacture.
Roll your own driver!
(Or, those of us w/o such skills, can use ControllerMate).

We currently do not have software available to program this mouse directly on a Mac, BUT you can use SetPoint to program the onboard profiles on the mouse and then use those profiles, burned to the memory of the mouse, on a Mac.
Also, FYI, Mac OS X seems to prefer report rates of 125/sec, so set your mouse to those if you're doing that method.

Wow... I really wish I had checked the box more carefully before spending my money on a mouse that lacks software support for my Mac... SetPoint is Window's only as well. FAIL. Of course, the other option of using ControllerMate will cost me another $24.95.It's been 2 years since this product's release. Do you ever plan on releasing software to make it programable on a Mac???

If you are just wanting your G700, demo version of ControllerMate should be enough.
The developper of CM (his name is Ken) only place restriction on the size of 'program' you can make with demo-CM.
With limited number of buttons on G700, you are most likely never reach the demo restriction, unless you are making complex program.
With that said, $25 is well worth the money for what CM can do over and above any driver Logitech (or any other manufactures) have to offer.

I'm sorry for being rude (and my poor english) but you have to do something. There's hundreds of topics on that issue and nothing going on.
Come on guys, you've build an amazing mouse and you totally screwed the software, without that the G700 is pointless !
I'd hurt myself by opening my old windows computer, download SetPoint and this don't work at all. I mean even on windows.
In normal mode that's ok, I can change the DPI but the buttons on the side don't work. If I switch to Gaming mode, the buttons on the top do weird thing, whatever the configurations are set on. When I press G10 that open Firefox, where did that come from ? On my Mac that act like the key Tab.
Whatever your future plans are, you'll still need a software part and you can't stay with the actual SetPoint, which is ugly and inefficient, again I'm sorry for my rudeness but it's the truth.

umm. I don't mean to be rude but i was reading a very similiar comment from logitech about the lack of support for mac. And that comment was posted two years ago! are you guys ever going to support macs?
