I have a G700 on it's way from Amazon, but I have an existing problem with the Dell 375 bluetooth drivers not installing (and when they were installed they didn't detect any devices for the last few weeks, possibly after a windows update).
Full details are in this MS support post if the full details are useful.
I've just spent the whole weekend trying to fix it and got to the point where I have no bluetooth drivers installed at all.
Question I'm asking myself now is... do I need to bother? I can't really see if the G700 is a genuine bluetooth mouse or it the "wireless" is something different.
But either way, it may be that some drivers come with it that will make this problem a non-issue. Well... for the mouse issue at least - other devices such as phones will still be a problem.
I'd be grateful if anyone can shed some light - basically, do I need an existing working bluetooth setup for this mouse, or wil it's own drivers be enough? I may need to cancel it fast before it ships if I'm going to have a problem.

I just got a G700 from Amazon last week ![]()
It doesn't use Bluetooth, it has it's own g-series wireless receiver.
