G-series Gaming Mice

I love the free spinning scroll wheel on the G700.  My first G700 died on my so I got a second.  The second one's wheel is out of balance.  So when I'm scrolling and stop, if I move my mouse, the wheel rolls forward or backward on it's own.  This totally throws off where I'm heading with the cursor.

I took a look at the wheel when it spins and there is a hump, for lack of a better term, on the wheel that is throwing it out of balance.

Can this be covered by the warranty?
