G700 setpoint keyboard settings stopped working?

Been using and playing the G700 for about 2 months now, without any issues at all. Ran perfect. Now a few days ago I noticed that all the sudden my "thumbbuttons" keyboard bindings just stopped working. For example;
G7 = spacebar

G5 = tab

not any longer ...?

I tried it ingame (SWTOR) but also in notepad, words, and some other very basic programs. The buttons are just "dead". And I feel like I have tried "everything". Have there been any known (wierd) updates latetly from Logitech or Microsoft that created a conflivt or sorts?

I have the latest setpoint software (I have uninstalled and reinstalled it to)

Run it with a win7 pro.

This is very strange to me since it has worked as allready stated, perfectly one day and dead the next ...

Anyone else who got this or is it just "me"?

Tried to "bind" other functions to the "tilt" on the mousewheel.

So just to test I set both tilts for it to scroll only to the right instead left and right. So ... Right Right.

Didnt work. It's like only the default settings are the settings hat functions from now on ...

What the heck is going on?

Nothing works, the mouse is completly useless ...

"Solved it", but it makes no sense whatsoever imo.

Profile: General > Gaming > altered the settings under Gaming and now everything works.

Atleast in notepad etc. Makes no sense whatsoever, I cannot alter anything under General, but can do anything under Gaming.

Just putting it out there if someone else get a simillar issue.
