I would like to know if the G9 implements the "Enhanced Wheel Support" for Vista ?
See http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/input/wheel.m
Thanks.

Ok, as no one replied, I will ask the question again.
If anyone has a G9 and Vista, please let me know if it does smooth scrolling.
Now to explain what smooth scrolling is ...
The easiest way to test this is to try opening Notepad and typing a few lines of text until there are more lines than appear on the screen.
Now when scrolling up/down with the mouse wheel the scroll bar will either :
1. Jump in steps on each click of the wheel, (XP and non enhanced wheel support mouse).
2. Smoothly scroll, with no big jumps. (only on Vista with enhanced wheel support mouse) and G9 in the non-clicky mode I guess.
So what does the G9 do???

in any event, if it ticks its not noticable to me at least.

as a side note, it will allow me to scroll 128 pages in MS Word in a single move if i put some force into it. probably more, but thats as much as i tested ![]()
